About Us

Norman Fleming is a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Science.  He is a long time member of the Shoals Home Builders Association.  Norman has over 35 years of experience in home construction.  Aware of all building codes, Norman draws up all construction plans, specifications and landscaping designs.  He works with subcontractors and vendors to ensure that all homes are built according to plans and specifications.  Norman also inspects the work of subcontractors to assure the highest in quality and homeowner satisfaction.

Charles Matthews has been in the construction business all his life and has been with Lauderdale Homes since the beginning.  Charles manages all activities of the company and coordinates the activities of sales, escrow, marketing and construction.  Once your decision is made, Charles meets with you to explain our contracting process and begin construction.  He then follows your home from securing permits to coordinating and attending a timely closing.  Charles graduated from the University of North Alabama with a degree in marketing.

After more than 25 years of working in the home building business, Anne Underwood knows what it takes to make your dream home come true.  She will be the first person to greet you on your first visit and will try to answer all your questions.  Anne can assist you with the initial planning of your home design and will help you with all those decisions on paint colors, appliances, floor coverings and many others.  She will be involved with you on your new home all the way through to closing.  Anne is a graduate of the University of North Alabama
